In order to inventory and manage you need access to the clients through following shares:
- File and Printer Sharing (UDP 137, UDP 138, TCP 139, TCP 455) - RPC (TCP 135) The RPC service has to be shared directly because it arranges additional, undeterminable ports with the clients for the data transfer. Usually, you only have to execute the command netsh firewall set service RemoteAdmin on the clients; resp. set Allow remote administration exception in the group policies under Firewall.
